Phill Foster and Company has been involved in a multitude of investment properties over the years. The company has been the manager of over 40 investment entities in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Montana. One such property is unique: the renovation of the building that housed the offices of the Territory of Colorado.  Before Colorado became a state in 1876, Golden City (now Golden, Colorado) was the center of the Colorado Territory.  Phill Foster and Company was the General Partner for the Golden Mercantile Limited Partnership which renovated the building at 1122 Washington Street, which now houses the Old Capitol Grill and offices.  The Colorado Historical Society awarded this group the Steven H. Hart Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in preserving Colorado’s cultural heritage.
