Water Rights Uses and Sand and Gravel

Real estate activity in this area has become a significant part of our business. Water in Colorado has always been a valuable commodity, and the exponential growth of fracking in the Niobrara has had a tremendous impact on water use, availability, and value.  Our brokers are familiar with most Water Districts, and with the Ditch and Reservoir Companies in Northern Colorado. In addition, we have been involved in a number of transactions involving the sale, purchase, lease and development of both tributary and non-tributary water rights, as well as sand and gravel excavation and water storage for both municipalities and private parties.  Pete Gunderson, Larry Cornell, and Gail Kats can be extremely helpful in this area. Pete is a member of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education. Their individual and combined expertise serves clients well.
